这套“who was……”(当然，活着的人是who is……)童书国内引进出版了15部了，我翻译了其中的7本。当时就看到了有鲍勃·迪伦的这一本，不知道后续有没有购买版权----版权经理估计会认为鲍勃·迪伦不够大众，或者不够儿童吧。

这套书是为了儿童出版的世界名人传记桥梁书，文字少，图画多，方便孩子自主阅读。
Who is Bob Dylan?下面这卡片可以了解下基本呢信息——
那个时候，我对迪伦那本就很有兴趣---上个世纪(听起来好遥远)80年代末90年代初我上大学的时候，适逢西方流行音乐大量“引进”，从约翰丹佛到卡朋特到迪伦到猫王，都是我们当时喜欢听的音乐。
因此也知道一位叫Woody 的人对于迪伦的重要性。有这么一本绘本就讲了迪伦年轻时与伍迪的相遇，从而改变了一生——
"Hey hey, Woody Guthrie, I wrote you a song..."听鲍勃这样讲，伍迪的脸像太阳照亮了。
这是有关迪伦成长故事的图画书，描述他和导师伍迪的故事。
鲍勃·迪伦是一个音乐偶像，美国的传奇，更简单地说，一个诗人。
但在他成为诺贝尔文学奖认可的“文学家”鲍勃·狄伦之前，他是Bob Zimmerman，来自明尼苏达农村的孩子。
这种抒情和华丽的传记图画书记录了鲍勃追随自己从小就喜爱的诗人狄兰·托马斯后，以及离开他出生的矿区小镇到纽约继续他对音乐的热爱。在纽约那，他遇到了民谣音乐的大明星，并且是他未来的导师---Woody Guthrie，永远改变他的命运，直到今天获得诺贝尔文学奖。

伍迪也有图画书传记——
不仅感叹，老外们为儿童创作起绘本来，还真是题材广泛啊。
广泛到连歌曲都可以做成绘本，比如我们曾经引进出版的丹佛的名作绘本——
我最喜欢的是那首《乡村路带我回家》
当然，现在迪伦获奖了，他的作品看起来更加像文学了，其中适合少年儿童的已经有多部被改编成绘本了。

迪伦的歌中，我比较喜欢的《Blowin' in the Wind》，当看到获奖消息时，我哼唱了这些歌词，发现文学水平是挺高的哈这首歌最打动人的非第一句莫属：

喜欢这首歌，也喜欢这本根据迪伦歌词改编的绘本，因为插图画家也是我非常喜欢，叫琼·穆特(Jon J Muth)，他自己也创作了很多绘本，国内已经引进出版了他的主要作品，包括《石头汤》《尼古拉的三个问题》《熊猫师父和阿古》《城里狗，乡下蛙》等，并以《禅的故事》获得过凯迪克奖。
我还喜欢迪伦的《rolling stone》和《forever young》，相信不少人跟我一样，所以后者也被创作成了绘本。
Forever Young
《Forever Young》收于1974年发行的第14张个人专辑《Planet Waves》中，是鲍勃为时年四岁的儿子雅各布·迪伦(Jakob Dylan)所作。

If Not for You是迪伦为单飞的披头士乐队吉它手乔治·哈里森创作的歌曲，听着很舒服，一遍过去就能跟着哼唱起来。
一般我们听这首歌，歌词中的“babe”会被理解为那个心爱的人，其实迪伦对自己的儿子非常有爱，经常为他们写歌。
